With 40 years of experience in swimming and 20 years teaching, Benjamin is the swimming teacher behind Swims Ahead of the Competition, helping children and adults develop their swimming skills and confidence in the water.
A LIFETIME OF SWIMMING.
TWO DECADES OF TEACHING.
Swimming has been part of Benjamin Hamlett's life for 40 years, with the last 20 years spent teaching swimming.
Through Swims Ahead of the Competition, Benjamin provides tuition to children and adults at different stages of their swimming journey, from those entering the water as beginners to swimmers looking to build on their existing skills.
His experience and knowledge form the foundation of Swims Ahead, with lessons focused on developing swimming ability, confidence and continued progress.

Level 2 Swimming Teacher
A recognised swimming teaching qualification supporting Benjamin's work with learners of different ages and abilities.
Level 3 Aquatic Coach and Tutor (Probationary)
Benjamin is currently completing his Level 3 Aquatic Coach and Tutor qualification, which remains in its probationary stage.
